WWII ground equipment

Hi Guys

I am looking at buying a 1/48 Verlinded Ford Mutt and a Bandai 1/48 Bedford truck.

What I am particularly wanting to know is if we used these vehicles in NZ or Pacific?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The Ford Mutt was not used in US service till about the Vietnam era and we never used it.

What model of Bedford is it?

The RNZAF used Jeeps in the Pacific by the way, and an assortment of other vehicles including the GMC 6x6 (Italeri makes one in 1/35th).

It is a 3 ton Austin K5 (not bedford sorry)

Shame about the mutt as there is a nice Verlinden one for sale.

Thanks again, it is hard to find equipment used in 48th scale. I have a little but not much.
