Thank you for the photos Michael, and welcome. I assume that you are training with CTC? Any more photos of the CTC fleet would indeed be worth while - CTL, CTN and CTJ seem to be ones I have never seen around.

Thank you for the kind words.
These are shot on a 350D and 100-400L.
I am indeed at CTC at the moment, all is going well except the weather is doing it's best to hamper things. Was meant to do HN-Rotorua-Tauranga-Thames-HN this morning but we couldn't get over the Kaimais.
With regards to our fleet; CTL is regularly on the line and flown. CTJ is knocking around too although not as much as CTL. CTN was the one which had the wheels-up landing and is sat engine-less on our overflow ramp. A dispute with Diamond over new engines means it probably won't be going anywhere anytime soon.
I shall look to put some more from over here soon, as well as from back in the UK. Any requests, I've gotten around a fair bit in the last few years!
Regards,
Michael

Nice images Michael However, this one... Doesn't anyone clean the underside of the aircraft at CTC.... ;D The Yak can look like this after just one flight so syndicate standing orders say "You fly it...you wipe it..." or something like that. We have a big box of rags in the hangar for de-oiling duty. The tall undercarriage makes it a bit easier to get underneath than a C172

Has someone been doing sneaky aileron rolls in that 172?

Nice pics Michael, I hope you are enjoying the waikato hospitality...and no doubt coming from the UK, the weather, and its various changes will serve you well when it comes time to move into the right seat. Enjoy this time, enjoy the flying, as once you get to easyjet/thomas cook etc its a tough grind..particularly through the summer months. Thanks for the pics once again.
