OFFS -we sent the 757 - again. Yes, we get it - we fly a modified ex-airliner on mundane transport tasks around the world. When did this become our standard airshow routine?

Probably popped in for the wedding and stuck around for the airshow Seriously, a very expensive exercise if it was just to 'fly the flag'. Great pix BTW.

Great photos there Michael. I think that first black Hawk is the one that is displayed by a kiwi pilot, isn't it?
I cannot see any reason why No. 40 Squadron shouldn't display its aircraft while it's overseas. They would have had the Boeing in Britain for other reasons I'm sure, I doubt it was flown up there just for the airshow (they can't afford to take it to NZ airshows so it has notbeen flown up there for Fairfoed alone). After all nothing else from NZ is going to get seen there, our Hercs and Orions are all being upgraded and half each fleet is out of service. Why not show the flag with the Boeing? I know from feedback I've read on forums it's a really popular display with the British crowds too.
