I'm seriously looking to locate an early model DC3 Instrument Panel similar to this. Can be barren. They varied a lot of course. I'm not after a later or heavily modified panel, but something akin to this. REWARD offered for a successful lead. Sincerely would appreciate the eyes and ears of the forum working toward a success with this. Cheers Peter (aeromedia)

Convinced theres got to be one of these lying somewhere.
Any leads on this or any DC3 cockpit bits including pedals, yokes, control pedestal, instruments etc really appreciated. For a legit project. Cheers

Cheers Not if they still had them or if they would consider a sale but in the 80s Obiwan27 and myself helped to stripped out the remains of the cockpit of NZ3518/ZK-BEU. This was in the old restoration area at 7 Hangar This included the panel, control columns and yokes, throttle pedestal , rudder pedals etc etc. And man did she stink! Fortunately the smell soon went away! The RNZAF team also brought back the undercarriage but you probably don't need that for a cockpit eh Pete? ;D

Interesting Baz, a long time ago I know, but can you remember whether the basic panel at that stage was pretty much original like the one I've depicted, or had it been through numerous mods?
