i thought there would have been more comments on the new scheme rnzaf.proboards.com/post/198711Yes I am surprised there have been few comments on a NZ web site considering it is the final colour scheme chosen for all ANZ aircraft.(Apart from the all black specials) I quickly linked two photos on my thread which brought no comment at all? Well done Beagle at least you got some response. My image which was priority screened on Airliners.net (USA web site) has so far passed 16000 views? Many of them probable Kiwi viewers. www.airliners.net/photo/Air-New-Zealand/Airbus-A320-232/2321167/L/&sid=97709beab7baecedf7d51aa6d90f33edJetphotos priority screened. www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=7677095&nseq=0Web sites are really strange what you might think is popular is not and what you might think is mundane ordinary get a huge response. I can never fathom it out. Good shot too Beagle thanks for sharing. Cheers, Colin

they were only quick shots on a dull day so not the best by any means. If it is in service now domestically then hpefully will catch it again soon

Great shots Beagle, particularly like the 777 "ahem" and will now be the only EK 777 visiting NZ shores..apart from a freighter or two from time to time:-)

Yes, very nice images. The new scheme is a tie in with the New Zealand Tourist Board and the airline and I think it's rather fetching. It certainly looks better than the black tail and Air New Zealand script alone, which looks a bit insipid, especially in dull weather.

out and about at lunchtime, going passed the ANZ hangar and what did I see....... Bloody hell I missed out on a tour of the Engineering Hangar on the 24th cos I had the flu.(Just got over it now) Couple of chaps from work got the tour and got to see a major check on an B737, this A320 and an Air National Guard C130 having its ramp door fixed due to a crack. So gutted. Oh well next time, and nice photo Beags.

So there is from memory going to be another scheme where the aircraft is black but a white tail

Nice shots Beags, some would have tweaked the images but they are fine as is!! UV can add some glare... Nicely in the frame too, how many 747's do we still have flying pax routes? Any doing freight only?

Boeing 747 400! Still the greatest airliner out there! Brilliant shots.
Air New Zealand operate 2 Boeing 747 400's on pax only services. Singapore Airlines bring their Boeing 747 400 Freighters into Auckland.

Thanks for that. Singapore Airlines have a B747 running to LAX from Sydney I think, - the service they are about to cancel - do they have other pax 747's running?

Nice photos thanks Beags. Anyone else see the 4 USAF C-17's on the tarmac on Sunday? Unusual to see that many at once.... Tourists coming into CHC might of thought we had a real Air Force

I happened to be in the departure lounge waiting for a 1430 departure to Auckland and saw the 747 go past the window a couple of times. Snapped off a couple of shots through the glass. Plenty of snow on the mountains to be seen on the flight up! I also though I saw an all white Herc on the ground on Monday, then in the air on Tuesday. Anyone know what that would have been?

and if you had been further in town you would have smelt the bad odour that quite a few people have been complaining about in town lately. Most sem to describe it as raw sewerage
