I had a look at Tamiya's new 1/32nd scale Mustang today. Wow, what a superb kitset. So detailed and so beautifully engineered. It comes with three different canopies with subtle variations of shape, even!
I know that some of you are gonna love it!
The price is $279 though. I remember when you could buy a real Mustang for that (nearly) ;D

I saw one in the local model shop a few days ago ...didnt realise what I was looking at until I bumped into this thread today..just one is a bit rich for me

Which is why, as much as I'd prefer to support my local model shop, for higher end models like this I just can't go past the internet as a place to buy from.

With the US-NZ exchange rate at the moment being so good for buying from off-shore I'll bet a fair few modellers are stocking up from overseas orders.
