You see... it's like this ;D I connected my new Orcon "Genius" last night at home. 12meg down, 1 meg up. Voip (phone over internet without a telecom bill) and three pc's love it... Sorry Dave...

Or you could use your Smartphone as an access point for your computer and make calls via Skype or other applications. No wires, easy as clicking a screen box on the phone and starting the computer up. So many better options now days.

a free? way of using the computer as a phone Dave... dont suppose it will be affected by your dial up speed worth a check all you need is a pair headphones and a simple mike and you're away

Dave I'm wating on my mic and headphones set, when it comes Im told that you go to sykpe and follow the instructions... so if I can do it at least I can help you too. On the otherhand you could always ask if anyone on the forum has kit not being used; upgrade with any kind of broad band,and weyhey!...it would be inbelieveably fast and make your editing/ moderating less of a task

I simply cannot afford broadband, and right now i cannot actually afford dial up or much else, so won't be upgrading to anything for a long time.
