There seems to be a series of these Battle Of Britain CGI films on Youtube, see the options after watching the above clip.

Those are great clips. Should be in the flightsim section as it is a well edited film from the IL-2 COD Flight sim

I liked them too, there are a few more on Youtube. I saw they were done on IL2 but thought more of them as CGI films.

Nicely done; easily recogniseable and accurate squadron markings. In the first I saw 72 (RN) and 92 (QJ) on the Spits with 501 (SD) on the Hurris. The incident of the Do 17 being sliced in half actually happened, the fuse of the Dornier crashed near Victoria Station in the heart of the West End and was dug up a number of years ago by aviation archaeologist Steve Vizard. They blocked off the roads and brought in the diggers. I remember seeing bits of it at Duxford once. Taking off in the second during the attack sequence was 65 Sqn Spit (YT) getting airborne from Hornchurch and attacking the Bf 110 was a 54 Sqn (KL) Spit.

Yeah I remember watching the doco about that showing the digging up of the remains, quite moving when the Hurricane's pilot who survived the war (obviously) was taken to show what was recovered. Amazingly there was film footage of both the Dornier and the Hurricane in their final plunges!

As you would have noted these clips are from the newly released computer game 'Cliffs Of Dover" which came out earlier this year.
Done by Oleg Maddox who bought us the amazing 'IL2 Sturmovik' series of games & again the CGI is taken to a whole new level.
The game retails for $89 but in my case i'd need to spend another couple of grand to give the ol' home PC some more horsepower to run the thing properly ;D
I will be buying this though, seeing these clips again has reminded me how much i'm after this one...
