Does anyone here SERIOUSLY collect these Mags ?. I have the June 44 edition which I am prepared to donate to a person interested in preserving them. Would like to see it go towards a collection. It has what appears to be a diving RNZAF Dauntless on the front cover. There is some very interseting stuff in it. It belonged to my grandfather who was in No 6 Squadron, the Cats in the Florida Islands. Don't want to see it get lost and my sons are not interested. Cheers all. Mike.

Dave has a comprehensive collection, he may be interested. I bought some extras off him.

I have every issue from the 1941-45 run and a few of the postwar 1950's issues. That one you have is a great issue. It's a great magazine.

I've managed to collect every issue except No 1 of this great series. The later ones don't fetch a great deal these days but your issue with it's attachment to your father puts in a different level, what a pity your family aren't interested!! I hope you find a good home for it, it would be a shame for it to be lost. Kerry.

I do not have an original copy of issue No. 1, but a very nice lady who's father worked on the magazine kindly photocopied No. 1 for me. Very, very few No. 1's seem to exist. It was made in such small numbers being only made for RNZAF Station Levin, and the volumes that were combined later didn't include that first issue. So I'm happy to have the photocopy. When i get time I might scan it and place it up here for other collectors who have not yet found an original to read.

I have a photocopy of the very elusive No 1 as well, i guess not many originals got past Levin gates falling prey to wartime paper drives & 70 years of attriction.
