Hm. Very nice model, and what a cool concept! Im just confused as to why EGK, which (I'm fairly sure) is still a Lycoming piston bird. At th start I thought it may have been te Fletcher Falcon, a LTP101-powered Fletcher with Cresco u/c and fuel systems, but no...
Kuos to the builder though, and im guessing the reason for the lack of hopper must bethe immense amount of fuel needed! I would love to see it in the flesh. Thanks for sharing!

Why EGK? because this model was piston powered then converted to turboprop. It does have a working hopper.... As to why he flies wayyyy to fast for a fletcher, the owner and pilot is a quadriplegic and has very limited use of his hands so its kinda all or nothing in the power department! Hm. I reckon the speed looks about right for a Walter Fletcher. CKA used to cruise at about 121kts at 70% torque

I had no idea EGK was a turbine now! My mistake, when i left WAW early last year she was still with an IO720 up front.

My Dad worked for Ossie James at James Aviation and then at airparts. I was lucky enough to fly in the Turbo prop from Hamilton to Wellington, pilot was Harry Gallagher
