Has anyone seen the Nga Toa website? Nga Toa means 'Many warriors' in Maori (obviously). The site is dedicated to collecting and recording the memoirs of WW2 veterans. The site intro says this Nga Toa meaning "Many Warriors" in the Maori language is a project dedicated to preserving the oral histories of New Zealand’s last remaining World War II veterans. To date, over 150 interviews have been compiled in the Nga Toa video archive by Patrick Bronte a young man who, paralyzed from the shoulders down, has been working hard to preserve the experiences of his nations World War II veterans.www.ngatoa.com/news.phpI placed it on the Army and Navy board because it is mainly army material, but there ar a few Air Force memoirs there too. Also the Links section is well worth using, but be warned, you may need a more than a few hours set aside!
