Hi everyone, F/Sgt from No.1 Sqn (City of Wellington) here! I've been in cadets for five years and only just discovered this site, shame on me  This December will mark the end of my cadet career and I was just wondering, how many of you cadets from 1, 2, 10, 41 and 49 sqn are coming to exercise kiwi this year? |

Initially I wasn't going because Adv. Tramp, but now I'm not going because I have the Geography Olympiad selection camp. It sounds really nerdy, but hey, I get a heavily subsidised trip to Germany!

What the heck is a Geography Olympiad??
What part of Germany are you visiting Luke? If in Berlin check on the aircraft collection at the Berlin Technical Musuem or whatever it's called. They have Sir Tim Wallis's old Stuka and Bf110.

Well, if I get selected, I head off to Cologne in August.
A geography Olympiad is basically geography Olympics. I somehow won the national 5th form geography competition which led to me being invited to a selection camp for national team in a weeks time.
So hopefully I do well in that and get selected for the trip.
