Has anyone else noticed that the two Mustangs currently painted up as Territorial Air Force machines are sister ships despite coming from vastly different backgrounds. "NZ2410" at the RNZAF Museum - c/n 122-41367, USAAF serial 44-74827 "NZ2415", ZK-TAF operated by the 'P-51 Syndicate' - c/n 122-41369, USAAF serial 44-74829 Only one apart on the assembly line at Ingelwood in 1944, pretty cool coincidence. ;D

That's right ! and they had rather different careers.
Just a small correction: even though the serials are 44-74xxx, they were built during Spring 1945 - the serial number depicts only the Fiscal Year (FY) where the aircraft were ordered for.
