Hmmm weekend before Warbirds Over Wanaka and they have a TBF Avenger flying at that - and it is one with Kiwi connections. Wonder if USAF and / or USN will participate? Be nice. There was a F22 at Avalon in Australia last year. Never know the Russians might turn like they did back in the 1980s at Whenuapai. How about RAF? Maybe RAAF will bring over a Shornet or two plus a Wedgetail and a KC30 as well as a C17. I see that a RNZAF A109 will be flying I wonder if they will have a NH90 flying display. Unfortunately I can't afford togo to two airshows so close together and I can't afford time to go to Ohakea. Bugger.

Pretty much they are the same from the firewall rearwards though. I think there is one possibly two genuine TBFs being rebuilt to fly but not sure when. Shame you can't make it but fear not I'm sure a lot of us who are going will post photos and /or video on here!

The USAF are bringing a C17, according to the press release. The Singaporeans are bringing a KC-130 as are the USMC I think. So far the RAF haven't confirmed what they will have there.

And the NH-90 will be static according to the website. I thought various crews were trained up and had been flying them for many months over in Germany, I'm amazed they won't be flown at the airshow. What is the issue there?

Can you guys place all further discussion into the larger thread that Errol linked to above to cut down on two threads running at the same time please?
