Dave, I don't know whether this is an official name or not, but this manoeuver is called the "Spaghetti Break" on several websites.
From what I understand, the Red Checkers began including this manoeuver in their routine at the beginning of this year. This new routine is one of the reasons I am coming to NZ in March, so I can see the Reds at Wigram on 25 and 26th March and again (hopefully!) on the 8th of April at Ohakea.
