Is it true the remains of the RNZAF's DHC-2 Beaver, NZ6010 is still at Beardsmore Glacier, Antarctica where it crashed?
In light of recoveries of other aircraft from ice, like P-38 'Glacier Girl', I wonder if any consideration has been given to retrieving any of the wreck if it's still there - perhaps not to restore but instead to have as a relic to display with the replica of it in the RNZAF Museum. Just a thought.
Also, which other aircraft have crashed and been stored on Antarctica then ressurected and returned to the air? I have read of a C-47 that was buried there and later recovered but I don't know the details. Anything else too?

Ah that's right. There was a thread here last year where Turbo posted photos taken by his dad of the LC130
