I'm a bit late - and it's not great footage - but here's my video of RAAF F-111C A8-113 performing at Warbirds Over Wanaka 2006, Craig Whiting and Susan Youngman were the crew: Forgive me for a slight Thread drift, but anyone wanting to know more about the F111, could do worse than watch this. Discussion of the manual wing sweep and the handling of the aircraft, puts the skill of the Demo Pilots into perspective. Still miss the F111 E's and F's from Upper Heyford and Lakenheath (and the odd EF11A Raven ) The sight of one lined up on RAF Valley's Runway 32, 5 miles out, Gear down, Landing light like a Torch.....low approach, Gear up and away, Burners lit..... Sorry...I got lost there for a minute Happy Days! Flying The F111

As well as the Hawk in the flying display, there was a C-27 in the static at Wanaka 2018. DSC_2903 DSC_4117

The talk of an RAAF King Air at Warbirds over Wanaka inspired me to dig out a photo or two, unfortunately I can't find the photo I have from either 2016 or 2018, but I will keep looking. I suspect the King Air from 2010 was there supporting the 3 sqn Hornet crews based on what looks like Knucks getting onboard in that pic. Shuttle from CHC to the show maybe? Curious how the USAF does it when there.

Still can't find that photo. Every year the RAAF have been at Wanaka I expect a RAAF King Air was there, I just don't have the photo evidence to prove it. From memory the RNZAF King Air shuttled the F-16 pilots between Christchurch and Wanaka. I feel like the King Air may have even parked in front of the gold pass stand and let the F-16 crew disembark like they were rock stars. Not that I have a photo of that.

Just imagine the poor King Air pilots with a bunch of backseat driver knuckleheads.
