Is this the Willy Andiel replica that was designed in Australia? Would be a great addition to the scene

It would look good alongside a Titan Mustang

Yes it is ,good spotting . I went to Port Macquarie to pick it up for my father what must be almost be 10 years ago and Willie drove it and me back up to Sydney and it came over on a car container ship as it has its own purpose built trailer . About a year or so later Willie got stomach cancer again and unfortunately they didn't catch it soon enough .
Built/designed by Willie Andiel who was an expat German who immigrated to Australia after WW2 . The really interesting thing about Willie is that he flew the ME109 g6 on both the eastern and western fronts during WW2 .

What a fascinating project. I have read much of full scale replica -109s lately, so it is nice to see even a reduced scale example underway here. I imagine an 80%, Rotaxschmitt would be much more economical all-round than a genuine one!
I, too, would like to see more pics when/if you get time. Is there a timeframe for completion at all? How much more work is needed? Are plans available, should any forum members feel the need to keep their hands busy?
A G-6 with the underwing cannon pods would look awesome in a dogfight sequence with one/some of the Titan Mustangs at an airshow in the next few years!

Hello, I was a friend of Willi Andiel and was around when he built and test flew the Me 109. Attached the first air to air we took at the time from my Zodiac. I have always been wondering what became of the Me 109, so it is good to see that it is still around! Do you intend to rebuild it with the two stroke Rotax? Regards, Chris Attachments:

Thanks for the shot, Chris! Nice to see it in the air. It looks pretty scale, with the (understandable) exceptions of canopy and vertical tail surfaces.
