I quite like the current NZ Army recruiting advert, but their slogan at the end is plain silly. "You Bring It. We'll Bring It On." It's worse that the RNZAF's one!

Yes I too quite like it Makes us look quite awesome haha I have to say it seems like we are getting quite alot of new kit recently though. Here's some video's of 3 new weapon platforms. Don't mean to HiJack the thread, but if more people saw these they would have a better image of the NZDF.

That U.S Marine that killed 4 homeless in L.A as he said "I joined the Marines to kill people and ended up a truck driver" Concerns me enough, without slogans like this for our undisciplined youth who may want to enlist for the wrong reasons. Having said that heck yeah looks like the R.N.Z.I.R have got some new tools, I remember hardly ever being allowed to fire my M-203 40mm but now you have 40mm H&K GMG's? And an M-4 in .308, we had them ages ago it's called a AR-10, flat topping it makes the sights more accurate but it's a semi auto so thank god no one said sniper (like yanks) it is correctly a sharpshooters weapon,at least the U.S terms is anyone with optics being a sniper. ....But with the new tools comes the pinzgouer sorry but that just looks lame beside a M-113 A.P.C or Bushmaster. Sigh enough ranting for me, Back to normal programming. (as you were)

"You Bring It. We'll Bring It On."
I take that to mean you bring the attitude and we will bring you into line. Yes, the ad is effective and 'cool'. The best Air Force ad in my opinion, was the 'Sky is the Limit' one with the kid flying the kite, from the late 80s.

Pinzgauers have been around for years and they have replaced the Landrovers, not the M113's. It was the LAV 4's that replaced the MII3's. And they are actually very effective vehicles, and do the job well from all i have heard. Even the RNZAF has them.

It's not an M4 in .308, it's an H&K 417. The 7.62x51 version of the M4 is the SR25, also known as the Mk11 Mod 0 in NZ service.

"You Bring It. We'll Bring it Out". Not bad. the quality of NZ army ads has improved quite a bit, they have to be cool to appeal to the younger set. I still remember ads for the Territorials in the early 1980's with butchered lyrics from "Born to be wild".

"You Bring It. We'll Bring it Out": aka - You bring the attitude. We'll bring out the mongrel in you. ;D I can just see a bunch of advertising gurus sitting around a table somewhere in downtown Auckland (or Sydney!), with Julian, Dimity, Sebastian, Jacques, Brianna and Dougal firing off a whole series of hip and cool catchphrases designed to attract the youth masses to the Army. And all for a cool $1million dollar fee!

Didn't the RNZAF use 'Bring it on' before step up?

I somehow missed the last word in that Army's new slogan. It's not as bad as I had thought, the Out makes a bit of a difference.
Phil, the RNZAF used "Bring It On".
Prior to that they used "The Sky Is The Limit".
In WWII they used "Join the RNZAF And Fly With The Victory Squadrons" in one poster/ad campaign.
In a WWII campaign the Air Training Corps also used the great slogan of "Come To Grips!"

Heres 90s era RAN recruiting ad that the RNZN recruiters use to use on school recuriter visits even though it was Ozzy Navy. Though it does have some clips of RNZAF 2 SQN skyhawks and RNZN leander frigates.
