Cassino Revisited - excellent Radio programme

I just downloaded and listened to this. This episode of the excellent series Sounds Historical features a 1994 edition of Spectrum called "Cassino Revisited" where the reporter Jack Perkins travelled with a party of kiwi veterans back to Italy for the 50th Anniversary of the Battle of Monte Cassino.

It's well worth a listen to hear the veterans telling their stories. Download the second hour on this page, and fast-forward about 7 or 8 minutes into it to get the start of "Cassino Revisited".

I particularly found it interesting how quite by chance kiwi tank veteran Jim Moody meets up with a German veteran who was involved in blowing up his tank! Amazing.
