RNZAF P3 finds survivors clinging to debris

Keep an eye out (this may have been on the news late last night)...but my wife has just been involved in the above rescue by a RNZAF P3. Apparantly the P3 found the survivors and were going to leave them floating until the rescue ship arrived, but then one of the crew spotted a shark circling...so they quickly dropped them a liferaft!!
