Does anyone know if Fieldair ever flew a Tiger Moth top dresser from Taonui aerodrome? Im looking for a Fieldair livery for a model paper card Tiger Moth model.

Unlikely,Fieldair was only licensed on the other side of the ranges in the Hawkes Bay/Gisborne areas. Feilding was home base for Manawatu Aerial Topdressing Tiger Moths,Aerial Spraying had a couple of Tigers there, possibly Aerial Farming and Rural used it for Tigers too.

Dave Phillips' Tiger is probably one of the best around in an old scheme

Hi faminz, Grab a copy of THE TOPDRESSERS. There are some pix there of Frank Desborougs colorful tigers he had at Feilding. As a teenager i used to help frank cleaning up tiger parts for his rebuilds. His wife used to refabric the wings etc as she had done during the war!! .His encouragement sparked my love of aircraft and time as a Ag pilot. Love to see any tigers you make!! Cheers
