Nice shots. What's the Russian thing? It has very droopy wings.

Good stuff Michael, I take it from the pics you are now officially a cadet pilot with MON? If so, you have been fortunate enough to join a great little airline, there is lots of fantastic experience and plenty of fun people. A quick check of my log book shows I last flew G-MPCD in Sept 2002 on a LGW-AGP-LGW. Do you know where you will be based yet? Goodluck H1

Indeed, although assuming the company doesn't have a tragic summer, we've almost been guaranteed a permanent place at the end of the year. Not heard a bad word about them, and the people I've flown with thus far have been outstanding for sure. Alas, CD is the oldest and she's leaving at the end of the summer. I am Gatwick based for the next 6 months, but they've just started ops from East Midlands and we've been told to expect a few trips out of there too.
Thanks,
Michael

Speaking to our line Engineer at BHX the other day (MON do our line work at MAN, BHX, and GLA) and he says 40 airframes is the magic number, so I reckon you have a pretty good chance of continuing on after the summer.
