Cool, well done. If it looks as good as that model, I'll be pleased.

That models great, very nice colour scheme, very nice indeed. Not too over the top but eye-catching to say the least.

Hey Turbo, Have you joined your local SAA chapter yet? Its great support when you are building. I can give you the chapter contact details if you want. The Nieuport should be a great little project - lots of wing ribs though (I just about went spare making mine - and I only had 34! ) I reckon that colour scheme would look great on it (Perhaps some "dummy"(?) rockets as well?) Is it the alloy tube construction method? If so, we should chat sometime cos my machine uses a similar technique. cheers.

Hey Bruce, Yes I've got the details and I check out the RAANZ website regularily too. The Nieuport is all alloy tubing construction and cloth sewn and shrunk (shrikened?) onto. They can use a variety engines, the most popular being a Revmaster 2200 (basically an aero'ed-VW 2.2ltr), or a Subaru EA81 (non-turbo) but the aircooled VW's a lot simpler and easier. Being a sesqiplane, they're not quite a biplane as the lower wings are significantly smaller, so the ribs for the lower wing are smaller too, to make. I'd be interested to hear how your aircraft building has gone, most definitely !! Cheers
