Apart from the annual Exercise Fincastle where our Orions are pitted against the best from the RAF, RAAF and RCAF, does the Royal New Zealand Air Force have much to do with exercising with/alongside the Royal Canadian Air Force these days?
You never seem to hear of the RCAF coming here, or our aircraft visiting Canada, etc.
Did Canada get the pip with NZ over the anti-nuclear issue too? I thought that they were non-nuclear themselves.
They have top equipment that could be good for us to train against.
just wondering. Maybe I'm wrong and they come here al the time?

Didn't the RCAF used to be involved in the Bullseye or Skytrain series of exercises?
I seem to recall their Herc being in NZ on several occasions.

Nothing recently, they don't even do CANZEX exchange anymore.

We do send some of our navigators to Canada for initial nav training.

Thanks guys. It's a shame there isn't more interaction - imagine RCAF Hornets at a Kiwi airshow...
