My good friend George has shipped his Falco to the USA to fly the aircraft across the continent to Oshkosh 2012. I'm luck enough to be heading along too! I've set up a blog which I'll update daily for anyone interested in following along. It also has a link to George's blog. Head to www.oshkosh12.wordpress.comIt was -8 when I started early out of Dunedin last week. Given the newspapers, I'd say we are heading from one extreme to the other!!

I'll do that Dave. Due to weight, I can only take my iPad so I'll work out how to post from that. I think there's an app!

I saw his time lapse footage of packaging it up... thought he'd sold it off shore!! Great to hear he's flying it to Air Venture... that's definitely a bucket list item!
Oh... and I see he's put it back together again!

George has posted on FB that he and Woody have arrived in Oshkosh. ZK-SMR is parked up in the Homebuilders park at KOSH. Well done, those men...! Search for "Kiwi Dream Adventure to Airventure" on Facebook to see the whole journey.
