Did anyone else see on the 6pm news last night (I think TV3 but maybe TV1?) where there was a report on the RNZAF's new strategy to attract children to a career is a web based video game. That in itself looked cool, but the report certainly had a dig that the Strike Wing is mothballed and "still not sold" was emphasised, plus an interview with a teacher amounted to that kids these days think we have no Air Force after the Skyhawks disbanded and a video game won't attract them.
I liked the cut of that reporters jib.... I didn't catch who did it but it was a veiled swipe at the lack of defence air power for sure.
