The exercise, involving 22 countries, 25,000 personnel, 42 ships, six submarines, and more than 200 aircraft, runs until August 3. Among the contingent from this country are about 350 NZ Defence Force personnel, ships Te Kaha and Endeavour, a diving team, a mine counter measures team, a rifle platoon, and an air force Orion. RIMPAC 2012 is the largest international maritime exercise in the world, with New Zealand's involvement being its first in RIMPAC for 28 years. Better clip of sparrow and ciws shoot.
