Very cool pictures. I was there last year and it was one of the best shows I have been to. Looks like the line up was better than last year as well. I believe the OV10 was destroyed in a crash on the way home.
I believe the VC10 is the fastest civil airliner flying in the world after the Citation X! Maybe one of the last chances to see one flying

Obviously this must have been a Tiger Meet outing. Some really great colour schemes!

There was no official Tiger Meet at Fairford this year as the 2012 Tiger Meet was in Ørland MAS, Norway, Just lucky that the various air forces sent the Tiger marked aircraft for display/static. Web address for this years Tiger Meet www.natotigers.org/index.php

Nice pics Britfire. The design on the underside of the MiG29, is that the No.303 (Polish) Squadron badge? And the faces on the inside of the tail fins, are they connected to No.303 Squadron? A befitting design if they are.

Thanks flyjoe180. Had a look at the Fairford website to check where the Polish MiG-29 was from, one of two squadrons – the 41st Tactical Squadron based at Malbork, or the 1st Tactical Squadron based at Miñsk Mazowiecki. Apparently it is the 303rd Squadron logo on the top surface with an image of Polish Battle of Britain pilot Miroslav Feric on the inner Tail fins (searched around the net for info on logo & images on aircraft, happy to be corrected if wrong).

Thanks Britfire, that is a fitting tribute on the MiG. And yes, it was the upper surface not the underside as I wrote. Great photos all of them.
