The Years Back - superb documentary

Anyone who is interested in the New Zealand Army's campaign in Italy from 1943-45, have a watch of this really excellent 1973 documentary called The Years Back, on nzonscreen.

Such a lot of excellent footage I'd not seen elsewhere, and very interesting interviews too.

I just realised an earlier episode of this super series is also all about the New Zealanders in the war. The New Decade covers 1940-1941, and covers Army, Navy and Air Force, with some great footage I'd not seen from all three kiwi services. I wish they made documentaries this good these days:
