yep the Cub WILL bite if you mishandle her. Do a hard enough climbing turn and wham! Stall and into a spin. Not sure if this is what has happened here but could well be the one filmed to its fatal conclusion and it was taken by the CAA to Aero Clubs to show what can go wrong.

They are stills taken from a movie of the crash of ZK-BKI,15/2/58.Pilot Leslie Stott did a flypast for the farmer to take a movie which ended as shown.   |

Thanks for posting the pics.Having read the report years ago I've always wondered about the film that was taken of the flight.
