Those are quite super. They are a really good advert for the quality of Venturas decals & a huge compliment to your modelling skills. Well done that man. Steve.

Man, those are neat! If one of those were mine, I'd be proud to have it sitting on my desk ('76 in particular).

I go along with the others Harrysone, brilliantly executed! And aren't we lucky having perhaps the best decal manufacturer in the world right here in Godzone? Go Ventura!

I agree with everyone! My dad built me the Testors one as '76 years ago.
My guess is the Academy kit, if in 1/72. I must get some of those decals, they always catch my eye on TradeMe.

Hi, yes those are both the Academy 'AT-6 Texan' kit. It builds a very nice detailed model & very little filler is required as the parts fit very well. The only mod from the kit are the prop ballances which came from an Academy PBY kit. Yes I'd really recomend those Ventura Decals, they allow you to build 3 Harvards (though one, the 1970 set shares some of the same decals as the ones used for '76).
There is another set of WW2 RNZAF Ventura Harvard decals, they are probably also worth seeking out.

Yes, a very nice model harrysone. Glad you liked the decals. For War time Harvards we have just revised and reprinted sheet V7209 which has two options with the "big yellow boxes" on the side.
Cheers, Malcolm
