The Mark IX was a godsend to the RAF who needed it to fight against the FW190 on more even terms.

By all accounts the Tamiya 1/32 Spitfires are an excellent kit in just about every way, having said that, it takes a master modeller to do them the sort of justice that effort shows. Superb. Steve.

Just to nit pick there is no such thing as a "Spitfire Supermarine M.IXc," the same way as there is no "Mustang North American P51D"or "Hurricane Hawker Mk I". Now, had it been called Supermarine Spitfire Mk IXc that would be a different story!
