ANZAC Cove Centenary Memorial Service Restrictions

The centenary service in ANZAC Cove on 25th April 2015 is going to have restricted entry. Tickets are going to be restricted to 10,000 with Aussies getting 8,000 and Kiwis 2,000. The Aussie 8000 will be decided by a draw.

The numbers of Australians and New Zealanders to attend the 2015 commemoration are roughly representative of the number of casualties at Gallipoli in 1915.

The NZ Govt is having a survey about how best to run the ballot for ANZAC Day Gallipoli 2015. The survey finishes 25/11/2012.

The ANZAC Day Centenary Service at Gallipoli attendance numbers has been set at 10,500 with agreement reached between Australia, NZ and Turkey. Under the agreed plan, 8000 places will go to Australians, 2000 to New Zealanders and the remaining 500 for officials and VIPs. Attendees will be diced by ballot as this was decided as the fairest way.
