Some BIG BIG BIG news... we will have the SECOND only public appearance of this thing. And it will be it's LAST appearance EVER in NZ before its shipped overseas. Any idea what I am referring to?

I wonder whether if the Mossie is coming down (always treat it as an "if"...) it could head back via Raglan - the annual Black Sands Fly - In is on that weekend too (always clashes! )

Actually I'm interested in going both days, but don't want to stay overnight, and know from experience that driving myself there two days in a row and being on my feet all weekend is pretty tiring.
I've got a non-driver mate who wants to go to the re-enactment on Saturday that I offered a lift before I knew about the Mossie. So it would be great for me if some-one were to give me a lift on Sunday (with appropriate compensation of course), but I'm open to suggestions. There'll be space in my car on Saturday for another body or two.

The flying today was great, I really enjoyed the Mustang over the lake with the Messerschmitt, and Noel Kruse's Pitts display was really superb too. The little Titan was a nice surprise too.

Did the Seasprite fly its display in the end or was it still u/s? I left just before its 4.00pm slot.

U/S Till 7pm did a couple of Head on to the camera Passes on departure on the request of the NAVY Photographer in which case thank you for the heads up is appreciated and also Thank you to the RNZAF Aircraft Tech for the TOD info .
