WOW! More excellent shots there Ycato... you had some nice shots there too Dave, the lighting conditions were much better on the Saturday - bright sunshine with great greens and good contrasts. Thanks for the memories!

Welcome to the forum Mike, it's great to have you aboard. Can you please supply some update photos of this model? It is really good.
An timely this resurfaces this weekend, when 28 (Maori) Battalion Association has just disbanded forever yesterday.

Fabulous shots Ycato! You have a b.....y good camera to achieve some of those shots! Perhaps some of them have been cropped after but I think you have a great technique and are highly skilled at getting the fast moving plane centred pretty well. Can you share what you use, probably more than one camera with you but... and the lenses for these flying shots? What is the sequence shot repeat period? Do you use a monopod? I am guessing the camera is out of my league to purchase... I have an old slow camera and have to prezoom and prefocus which also sets aperture etc. and then pick it up and pan with it. It has an equivalent 380mm lens at 10 x optical. And it is only 4Mpxl which shows the age of this old half compact Oly. Just more than a little bit green with envy!

I've had, and am having issues with my computer, so editing time with photos had been limited.I'll have some more from the German/US/Brit battle up this afternoon.
