For those drawn more to recreation flying than the Armistice stuff, how about coming along to the Black Sands Fly - In at Raglan. This year is the 7th Fly in, and it has become one of the key events in the recreational flying calendar. Registration $10 per person (includes unlimited landings for those flying in) $5 per child 5-15. The Beach flying workshop returns - Briefing for this is 1230 Saturday The info pack has been sent for posting on the SAA web page www.saa.org.nz . if flying in, please read the operational notes. see you there!

Flown in there a number of times. One of my best mates runs the camp ground bordering the strip. Its one of the best fly-in destinations (aviation event or not) due to the close proximity of the cafes, accommodation, beach and general relaxed environment

I wish I could attend but I'll be at the Central Area Rally in Te Kuiti. Have a great weekend over there!

It is going to be a busy weekend. Big Boys Toys in Auckland (where I might be working), Cold Play at Mt Smart Saturday night and Cambridge Armistice...
I've been to the Black Sands a couple of times. A great get-together...
