It was definitely a busy weekend for aviation events, but for those with an interest in recreational flying, Raglan seemed to be the place to be. As always, I was pretty busy this year with the operational side of things, but managed to get my Adventurer ZK-CKE over on Saturday morning (At long last - I've been trying to get it there for several years!). We had a record attendance for Saturday lunch, with around 80 aircraft on the field at peak time, lined up alongside both sides of the runway! 29 aircraft landed on Gibson's beach on Saturday afternoon, but I didn't go this year so no photos. Sunday wasn't anywhere near as busy as the weather wasn't as good, but it was still a very successful and enjoyable weekend.
