A new quarterly magazine called The Aviation Historian has been launched in the UK (first issue appeared in October). Readers of Aeroplane Monthly/Aeroplane will note that TAH's editorial staff and many of its contributers were once associated with that once splendid monthly mag, which now, sadly, in my view is showing signs of declining standards since it changed publisher and editor. See here for details of TAH: www.theaviationhistorian.com/Errol

Unfortunately, US$101 for four issues per year is out of my league!

That's what I was thinking, would work out nearly €20 for a mag for me, it would want to be hardback and quite thick for that. As a comparison, Flypast and Britain at War are €6 give or take in the shops, cheaper on subscription.
Still, I think I'll track down a copy of the first issue just to check out. I've seen first issues sell many years later to collectors for a good price, maybe I'll get 2.
