We understand that Ykato. Thanks for the finding.
It pees me off, really. I have placed negative feedback and laid a complaint with the Youtube people.
A few days ago I found a site ex-Malaysia that has captured all of my Auster Agricola photos, stripped off the copyright info and reposted them. Bastards.

That really does suck the big one. Very restrained of you Peter, I would be livid.

Can anyone tell me why the Corsairs are on their landing gear, but the kittyhawks are lying on their bellies?

I presume the wheels were removed and sold off as assemblies. Farmers and others liked aircraft wheels to make trailers and other such equipment. I assume they preferred the whole assembly to make it more adaptable to individual usage. Not certain though. It's like the canopies which were sold to gardeners to use as cloches.

Hi Ben1999. There is a thread or two on here if you have a search for them. There's a chap on here whose family's property is beside the old dump and he has found all sorts of parts from Corsairs, Kittyhawks, Hudsons and Venturas. Some have cleaned up like new.

I must admit I have tried the search function without great success. Maybe I am dong it wrong. One thing I want to search for is confirmation of the dates of when Motat got the flying boats and I have seen the same photos from, I'm sure, two different forumites but the dates are, from memeory, different.

The search function does have its foibles. Proboards used to provide a second search engine from Google which was at the bottom of the page but they removed that function. However I find it's must easier to put your keywords into Google and add "rnzaf.proboards" in the keywords, and you usually get the hits you want right off.
