Whilst this isn't an Airshow or Air Display, there is an Aerobatic Workshop weekend being held at the Mercer airfield this weekend. There looks like there will be a good turnout (about 15-20 pilots) and a variety of aircraft.... could be worth a look?!  |

Well that definitely was worth a look!! Saturday saw Doug practice his display the Spitfire, then a little later on Liz put in an appearance in the P40, and Dave Philips (who had spent most of the morning instructing in the Chipmunk) bring the Mosquito past in a low pass as part of a filming sortie. Don't ever let me hear you say I didn't warn you!! ;-)
I do love the sone of Merlins in the morning... hell, any time of the day is fine by me!!!

Glad to hear it was a success - any photos? I would have liked to have popped down but I was on Great Barrier for the weekend.
