Interesting story in development in communications and computing. Quantum teleportation of information and quantum computing is the future and this has been signalled since photons were first teleported across a lab about 15 years ago. It's a whole new area of quantum physics and as the article suggests will ensure communications security, well until someone figures out how to "tap" the teleportation. For those who don't know the term quantum, it generally means subatomic or particle physics and is a very weird universe compared to how common sense works. But if it wasn't for quantum physics we wouldn't have computers and the electronics plus a lot of other advances we do now like CT scans or MRI scans as an example. I certainly wouldn't want to be teleported myself. Think of all the things that could go wrong. I've seen both versions of "The Fly";D

Teleportation first, then time travel...thats the start of a slippery slope.....

Like my 7 year old comic and sci-fi obsessed nephew once quietly said to his Dad: "Dad, we're real and Star Wars isn't...right"? Oh the opportunity to really mess up his mind...
Now "The Final Countdown", that's different
