I would guess pictures 4, 6 and 7 of the first post are probably also at Pukekohe.
Pukekohe in the late 70's, bare feet and no sun protection,
Mum-'Dad, where'd we leave the baby, his nappies due for a change.' Dad- 'He's on the back of the truck'.

And I'm going to say the Mt. Cook Otter ZK-CJZ is at Queenstown. Not sure about R1 or the HS748's.

748's & R1 at Queenstown. BYF at Woodbourne. ZK-AZA at Pukekohe Racecourse. Connie at Christchurch? Flying Boats at Rose Bay, Sydney.

The Grumman Goose looks to be Kawau Island. I'd say cossie was standing on the wharf. As behind him would be Mansion House and back then it used to be a pub. A very popular stop off for yachties and alike.....Still is but no pub damn it

The Connie photo should really be in the military section as it's one of the Deep Freeze aircraft (was named Pegasus) I have photos of it on the ice, both before and after it's crash

Red Baron, would that Pukekohe racecourse display have been the one that MOTAT held to raise funds for its aircraft section?
When I typed Mt Cook I meant the airline, not the place.
I wasn't sure about the Connie photo, so bunged it here as it's not RNZAF.
Wanna see more?

In the original photo the rego is ZK-CWG by the look of it.

Now for some really interesting old civil aviation photos. I suspect these older photos originated from Alf Gee: Staff at Mangere in 1937. From left, unknown, Greg Lambert, Fred North, Doug Greig, Alf Gee, "Snow" Rutherford "Tui" Running up at Mangere, 1939 "Tui" Running up at Mangere, 1939. Fred North (the builder) and Doug Greig in front of Tui. Note how there are no chocks, and no-one in the aircraft. I wonder if that small boy is still around today. The Fletcher might be ZK-CWQ.
