Watched him practice today.....very very cool, I want one.
Yes he is up high but you can see him quite clearly and hear the "four engine jet" quite clearly.

Yeah, I gotta say that I was more than a little sceptical how he would look for an airshow crowd..... but when you watched that little speck drop from the chopper and suddenly accelerate away it was VERY cool... and even though we didn't have the big screens for practice, I was still transfixed watching him! Bring on the big screens and live on board cameras/microphone for the weekend and it will be truly amazing!!
Also... the Aero Sprinting worked well... it was cool to hear some "crusty old airshow performers" saying that it was the most fun they'd had in an aeroplane in ages, and even without smoke (the smoke and onboard cameras getting installed today) and in Robins/Alphas it looked pretty cool from the ground.
This will definitely be worth a look... and quite a different airshow to the NZ standard!

Yep I could find a use for it during duck shooting season. Nothing in the rules says that you can't shoot them from above and behind. ;D

You gotta wonder why you'd do that?? All of a sudden a number of prospective attendees will stay at home and watch it in the comfort of their own lounge - free of charge!?!

I saw him in Jersey and thought it was pretty cool, but then I saw the Lancaster..... And the Vulcan...and the F-16.....
