A few snaps from various places during the last few days... Lake Hood, Anchorage...a few skiplanes operating but generally dark and gloomy... Otter is landing at the sealed strip on Lake Hood...long distance shot. We were just slightly longer...:-) 'Shadowscape' on the climbout from Anchorage... These fields could be in Europe but it's the highly cultivated, mostly dairy area of northern Hokkaido...[milk from this area is delicious] Normally have some lovely ladies looking after us but sometimes it's fun to 'batch'... Someone going back the way we came... A few days later in Sapporo... -10 China AL blowing some snow taxiing out. It's a very popular ski area these days hence our four flights that day and the MediVac Lear which is a daily occurrence ...

Outstanding snaps indeed! Interestingly, the medivac Lear 36 was in Tahiti on 13 February and headed out to Phoenix via Kona the next day before again trawling across to Sapporo via Anchorage and Adak. One extreme to another!!

Thanks guys...I'll post some more. Those Medivacs get around...wanted to go over and chat to the guy in the photo doing the walk around but they were in a hurry. Long flights in a Lear which don't have a lot of room up front. Regarding Anchorage it should be on any self respecting aircraft enthusiasts bucket list - so much to see there.
