During my afternoon visit, there was of course other activity besides the CTC aircraft. The Waikato Aero Club put some of their aircraft up: PA28-181 Archer II ZK-UFS Cessna 172R ZK-WAM Cessna 172M ZK-JGP (Jolly Good Pilot, apparently) Tecnam P2008 ZK-WHZ sat out the afternoon Sunair's Aztec 250C ZK-DGS moved from the aero club side of the field to the terminal side Super Cub 95 ZK-BQV called in for a refuel and South Island based Beech C90A ZK-FDN of Garden City Helicopters arrived

Ykato, that black and white 'Mexican standoff' between the Twinstar and the ATR is quite outstanding.

Ykato, that black and white 'Mexican standoff' between the Twinstar and the ATR is quite outstanding. ZK-MVB Departs - ZK-MVC Taxing behind on the apron - not that you can actually see it.

Rounding off my afternoon at Hamilton, Navajo ZK-SRC from Gisborne was a bit of a surprise arrival while the scheduled Air Nelson/ANZ airliner was Dash 8 ZK-NEU Pacific Aerospace 750XL P2-SDF ex ZK-KCJ moved from one side of the airfield to the other In the land of the CTC Katanas the visiting DA40 ZK-MTF from Massey must have felt a bit outnumbered Cresco 08-600 ZK-LTT ex-Farmers Air now Superair came in, didn't stay long enough for a wash, and then departed again A new 750XL ZK-KCI fitted out for survey work and presumably destined for Canada (but still registered to Pacific Aerospace) departed Superair's turbo Fletcher ZK-JQB ex-DBG came in and stayed The Alpha R2160 ZK-ZXY tried to sneak around the corner without me spotting it, but failed In revenge, I was buzzed by the Eurocopter EC120B ZK-IGE of the local Helicopter Corporation so I decided to go home. Thanks Hamilton for a varied and interesting afternoon.
