Seasprite sighted overflying Papanui, Christchurch 13:05 today heading SW. Couldn't get photo or number as was driving.

so whats the guts with regards the new IRDS. Did they get 5 new ones or just enough to cover frames when they go on board a ship. So the other matter is, if they have spent money, probably quite afew dollars in gettng these new turrets, then does that say they are not getting the I models, or was this purchase planned quite a while ago.

I heard it landing at Wigram around 4.30pm (parked in the Museum hangar overnight?). I thought our G's had an IRDS from new.

It was being bought into service about the time I left 6Sqn in 2010. IIRC 3 were bought.

Apparantely these are new full HD versions. Do you know what the I models have fitted Les. How different are these to the ones on the P3K2
