Here is a teaser poster for this year's Armistice in Cambridge event. Most here will be aware that you won't actually see two Corsairs, but this is really just to get the word out there that it's happening and that the theme will be based on 'War In The Pacific'. I'd like to also announce that I have been persuaded back on to the Armistice in Cambridge organising committee after three years away, and I am once again filling the roles of webmaster and aviation content organiser, both of which I did previously while a committee member. So I will be the one organising the aircraft for this event, ably assisted by my predecessor Steve Petersen. If you have any ideas or suggestions please let me know. I also suggested the theme 'War In The Pacific', so we can mark 70 years since some of the big battles that the RNZAF, RNZN and NZ Army's Third Division took part in. Ideas to enhance the theme are very welcome.

Maybe you can convince the Navy to truck down a couple of landing craft off the Canterbury and you'd have landing craft. Also have a talk to the RNZN Musuem as they may have stuff pertaining to the Kiwi and the Moa sinking the IJN sub I-1 on 29/1/1943, so this year 70th anniversary of that. A bit of utu on behalf of US as it apparently bombarded Hawaii ;D en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_submarine_I-1
