When you see it flying in person Beagle you won't give a hoot about its nose, it's just gorgeous. I wasn't a fan of the "Swiss" nose but afetr seeing her fly I don't mind now, she's an awesome wee fighter!

Even the Vampire was faster than the Strikemaster Baz, but you have to remember one was a fighter-bomber by design and the other an advanced trainer. Ah true, the Venom did look a lot quicker, wished we had got to see her again on Sunday. Bloody weather!

The Nazis are coming - preparing for the big WWII battle I happened to be in the right place, right time to spot the fighter pilots all readying themselves for the big WWII battle. There sure are a number of legends here in this group! I don't know them all but I recognised a lot of these pilots - Keith Skilling, Frank Parker, Liz Needham, John "JK" Kelly, Graham Bethell, Gavin Trethewey, Colin Henderson, Gene deMarco, Brett Nicholl, Sean Perrett, Brett Emeny... legends one and all!

Wow Dave, you sure get around, airborne or earth-bound. Never know where you might turn up! Thanks for the pics. You've got some really good overviews and angles there.
Some of those clouds are of the lenticular wave variety, also known as "freaky"...

Forum aftermatch function I see you have captured a few of the Gold Stand crew there, left to right Teresa (av8sm8) and my best side (back of my head) and just visible in the cowboy hat between us is Grant (Lumpy) then we have Mr Cool in the shades one Anthony Galbraith (agalbraith) with his son Cameron just visible on his right, then Don Simms (skyhawkdon) and his friend whose name I forget at the moment (Don? Help?) and then Neville Mines (aka Shorty). Great photos Dave I think you have pretty much captured most things going on at the show. Nice to see the inflight shots on the DC3. Quite a bit of cloud going home by the looks of it.
