Damn! Ever since a certain Mosquito arrived on the scene I’ve become addicted to the photos and videos on this forum, so much so that I’ve joined up (I kept feeling guilty seeing “hello guest, join up or perish in hell forever”) and have even managed a few posts. Every year I tell myself that I MUST go to (choose 1 or more) Wings over Wairarapa, Wings over Wanaka, or Classic Fighters at Omaka, but I’ve never managed any of them. Instead, I keep checking my laptop every few hours for photos from the likes of Gavin, Dave, Errol etc., to see what the spectators are seeing. Is there a cure, or have I become an incurable “airshow junkie”? Meanwhile, more photos please.

Magnificent evening show tonight, with great fireworks finale. Well done to all involved for the sound-and-light effects.

Some from today/tonight. I don't have time to add very much but as I update the Classic Fighters FB page I will put some here as well. Special thanks to the RNZAF for the opportunity to fly to Welly and back in the NH90 today, very impressed to say the least!!! We got these two together today, Frank and Sean went at it for a while, amazing to watch.

Great photos Gavin (the withdrawal symptoms are now abating). I don't think I've ever seen an F27 do an air display before - who is the pilot?

I'm thinking Tim Sullivan, also a TVAL pilot. If so, go Tim! I've been waiting for an F-27 display at Omaka.

No need to create an account - Just type 'errolgc' into the Flikr search field and filter down through that and you find all his photos on an 'open' or general photostream. ;D Or click here: www.flickr.com/photos/errolgc/

I’ve just used the link above to look at Errol’s photos, and I especially like then one of the Pup and Tripehound where they have just been sliced in half by, I presume, this year’s secret Omaka weapon. I never imagined that an exploding V2 could be topped, but by god they’ve definitely done it! Obviously someone had to pull a few strings to get hold of Dr. Evil’s Death Ray Laser.

Wow, that is special!
I have Pitts S12 shots!
Great day, 190 was way cool, one of the German blokes that produced the kits is a guest of the show.
